Aerial photography is our way of life. Welcome to Star Island Shark Tounament 2002 page of the website of the Aerials Only Gallery. This page displays "thumbnails" of the aerial photographs. Click on the thumbnail or the description below it to enlarge the picture to full-screen size. You can click on the description to view the picture even if the thumbnail has not loaded yet. With a 56K modem, the thumbnails will load completely in less than 2 minutes. You may need to scroll down the image to see the entire aerial picture. Serial numbers of each photo are displayed on the image. Then use the back button on your browser to return to this page. All our aerial photographs are taken with 2 x 3 inch and 2.25 and 1.75 inch negatives for superb clarity and sharpness. Your monitor shows the pictures at about 75 dpi while the actual aerial photographs are 3000 dpi. Enlargements are hand printed and color corrected in our own lab. We sell aerial photographs in sizes ranging from 11 x 14 inches to 30 x 40 inches. Here is a pricing and order form. We got fogged in at our helicopter pad on Friday until 10:30a.m. We lifted off at 11:00 a.m. and headed to Block Island to start taking pictures of you while you were fishing and running back for weigh in. The ceilings lowered at Block Island. We ran into a wall of Fog and rain and diverted to Westerly to see if we could fly around by the land route. No way! The rain kept increasing and we barely made it back to the Cape. So, to those that we missed taking your pictures on Friday, I apologize. We will be looking for you next year. On Saturday morning we waited and watched the precipitation on the radar as it slowly cleared. We lifted off the moment the rain cleared and were on station for pictures at 2:00. If you were one of the die hards that fished on Saturday I think you will like these pictures. Thanks to the Star Island Yacht Club for sponsoring such a magnificent tournament. Your pictures are listed alphabetically by boat name, or by the make of the boat if we couldn't read the boat name. Captians, be advised that these are JPEG scans for faster viewing.
